Recently through communications with WHO, I would like to share the following information with you guys and let’s fight together against the coronavirus.
Globally, we have seen the World Health Organization and many other partners working to keep us all safe from the COVID-19.
I urge all my friends to show support for each other at this challenging time. The virus knows no borders and affects us all. So, let's join forces against the virus, stigma and misinformation, follow the health advice and science, and fight as one to defeat this outbreak. We can win!

被災地ハイチの知らせによって深い悲しみに打ちのめされています。WHO(世界保健機関)の親善大使として、大切な人を失ってしまった方々へ心からお悔やみを申し上げます。そして、世界中に発信していくことで、できうる限りの方法で被災地を支援しよう、その行動を起こそう、と強く促していくことが私の任務です。
加えて、被災地で奮闘してくださっている勇敢なる皆さんに感謝を伝えたいと思います。全ての皆さんがに、今のこの困難を無事に乗り切ってくださることを願います。
既に多くの皆さんがアクションを起こし、被災地での救護活動をしてくださっていますが、もっと多くのサポートが必要であり、命を救う活動、再建の活動支援の輪を世界に広げていきます。

I am deeply saddened by the news of the terrible disaster in Haiti. As a WHO Goodwill Ambassador, I would like to express my sincere condolences to those who have lost loved ones, and urge citizens worldwide to aid the disaster victims in ways that they can.
In addition, I want to thank those brave men and women who are fighting to rescue the victims and urge them, as well as everyone else, to stay safe during this time of hardship. While many have already given to help with the relief work, much more is needed, and it will take the strength of the global family to save lives and rebuild homes.
